A MusD/Early Transposon family insertion in the sense orientation of 5400bp is found in intron 2 at position 28170744 of chromosome 8 (version mm8). This mutation has been identified only in the A/J strain. Expression of mRNA is significantly reduced. (J:149430, J:149432)
