The non-coding region of exon 9 was replaced with duplicate copies of the bovine growth hormone 3'UTR with its GU/U rich element and a floxed neo cassette. Transcript expression in homozygotes is increased 150% compared to in wild-type mice, as determined by RT-PCR. (J:147672)
