The transgenic construct contained a 6.7 kb fragment upstream of the transcriptional start site of the mouse Fzd10 gene followed by a CreERTM cassette carrying a polyA sequence. This construct was injected into fertilized oocytes with five transgenic founders obtained. Expression analysis showed that 3 lines exhibited expression patterns similar to a previously characterized transgenic Fzd10 reporter mouse line. One line was picked for further characterization.
