The transgenic construct has a 3.6 kb fragment of the mouse Cdx1 locus driving the cre recombinase coding sequence and HPRT polyA sequence. The linearized vector was injected into pronuclei of fertilized FVB oocytes. Two founder lines (lines 23 and 30 with 2 copies and 1 copy of the transgene respectively) were characterized. (J:146826)
