This transgene consists of a 2.4 kg fragment of the Prrx1 limb specific promoter driving expression of a 3x hemagglutinin tagged Sox9 cDNA followed by an IRES lacZ cassette. LacZ expression is seen in the limb buds starting at E9.5. (J:121946)
