A lacZ with a 3' floxed neo cassette was inserted into exon 1. The neo cassette was subsequently removed by cre mediated recombination leaving a single loxP site. The ES cells used to create this allele contained Hoxd12tm2Ddu and the insertions were selected for in cis. (J:47366)
