Serine 38 of Exon 2 was mutated to alanine and a loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was place in intron 2. A C57BL/6-derived embryonic stem cell line was used to create the mutation. The neomycin cassette was excised with Cre, leaving a single loxP site. (J:141427, J:147109)
