Tg(Myh7-RARA/lacZ)30Mcco

The mouse promoter was used to drive cardiac-specific expression of a human cDNA truncated at amino acid 448 and fused in frame via a collagen linker to lacZ. This truncation and fusion produces a constitutively active form. Two lines (30 and 32) were created. Line 30 has 12 copies of the transgene. (J:146424)
