A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1, and an frt-flanked neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 2. Germ line, flp mediated recombination was used to remove the neo cassette leaving exons 1 and 2 floxed. (J:146285)
