The mouse promoter was used to drive adrenal-specific expression of an anti-sense version of part of the open reading frame. Tissue specific knock-down of endogenous gene expression was confirmed by RT-PCR in the adrenal gland. However, expression is normal in the suprachiasmatic nuclei-anterior hypothalamus, liver, kidney, and pancreas. No line information was given, but the line presented has 60 copies of the transgene.
