The coding sequence for the human AURKA gene (Aurora-A) was placed under the control of the mouse mammary tumor virus enhancer and promoter. Six founder lines were established using the transgene construct with the two highest expressing lines pooled for phenotypic analysis. Transgene expression for both lines was highestin the mammary and salivary glands, followed by (in descending order of expression) kidney, spleen, liver, brain, and uterus. (J:145680)
