The human SFTPC promoter was used to drive lung-specific expression of a flag-tagged human fusion generated in human non-small-cell lung cancer due to recurrent chromosome inversion, inv(2)(p21p23). Two lines were created (502-4 and 501-3) that exhibit identical tumor-forming activity. Line 502-4 was selected as the representative line. Line 502-4 carried 30 copies of the transgene. (J:142679)
