A targeting vector replaced the coding sequence of the p21-binding domain and the inhibitory domain with a neomycin resistance gene in the anti-sense orientation. A lack of protein was confirmed in homozygote bone marrow-derived mast cells by immunoblot assays. (J:142439, J:145444)
