Tg(Col10a1-cre)1427Vdm

Cre recombinase was placed under the control of the promoter for the Col10a1 gene in BAC clone RP23-192A7. Sixteen cre expressing mouse lines were identified. Seven of the founder lines were further characterized for Cre activity. Analysis of three of these lines was reported (#1427, 1465, and 1466). Line # 1427 with a transgene copy number of 4 is taken as representative. (J:144607)
