Exon 5 was replaced with one in which 5 adenosines were converted to guanosines by nucleotide substitutions giving rise to I156V, N158G and I160V amino acid substitutions. A floxed neo cassette was inserted upstream of exon 5 for selection purposes. Mice only express the isoform carrying these substitutions. (J:142503)
