The 68 bp pre-miR stem loop found in intron 23 of Mib1 was replaced by an FRT flanked neomycin resistance cassette. Mib1 expression is not affected. Mice derived from correctly targeted ES cells were crossed to Tg(ACTFLPe)9205Dym mice to excise the neomycin selection cassette. (J:142220)
