Coding sequence for the Zbtb7b gene was placed under control of the human CD2 promoter and locus control region. This promoter drives expression in double-postive and single-positive thymocytes and in mature T cells. Three lines (C8, L4, L8) displaying similar phenotypes were established with the C8 line being chosen for further analysis. Transgene expression was confirmed in thymocytes by immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting. (J:97610)
