This transgene consists of a 1.3 kb fragment containing promoter and initiation sequence from SV40 and a 5.6 kb fragment extending from the promoter to the constant region of the Igk from the 4C8 hybridoma. The 4C8 hybridoma contains immunoglobulin genes that encode an anti-murine erythrocyte autoantibody. Two lines were generated, this a representative record for both lines. The HL1line carries about 20 copies of the transgene on an autosome. RNase protection analysis confirmed expression of the transgene in lymphoid tissues. (J:139864)
