The loxP sites were introduced into both 5' and 3' of 4 exons of the gene from Admtm1Mtnz was deleted by crossing with animals expressing cre under a ubiquitous promoter (unspecified) resulting in a null allele. Homozygous mice showed comlete lack of protein product from conception. (J:138817)
