The mouse prion protein promoter drives expression of the carboxy terminal portion of human amyloid precursor protein 695 (APP695) fused to enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (EYFP). Expression in brain, spinal cord and sciatic nerve has been confirmed by Western blot. Primary hippocampal cultures express EYFP at low levels. (J:139717)
