Sh2d4a homozygotes were crossed with Tg(CMV-cre)1Ipc transgenic mice that express Cre-recombinase in the germline. The loxP-flanked exon 8 of the gene locus was excised creating a null allele. Gene inactivation was confirmed by immunoblotting of splenic tissue. (J:139245)
