A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and a floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 1. Quanitative RT-PCR analysis of jaws from E11 embryos indicated that transcript expression in homozygous embryos was only about 14% that of wild-type littermates. Therefore, this allele is a hypomorph. (J:137726, J:138032)
