Exons 2 through 5 of Prtn3 and exons 1 through 3 of Elane were replaced with a floxed neo cassette. The neo cassette was removed by transient expression of cre in ES cells. The absence of transcript from either gene was confirmed by RT-PCR on bone marrow extracts. (J:137674)
