LacZ cDNA was knocked into exon 1 of the gene immediately after the endogenous start codon ATG. The construct was electroporated into 129P2/OlaHsd-derived E14 embryonic stem (ES) cells. The line was backcrossed 3 times to C57BL/6. (J:159013)
