Tg(Gfap-Il6)G167Lms

The Gfap promoter was used to drive cerebral expression of Il6. Several lines were created including lines G369, G16, and G167. G16 founder contains both the transgene and another transgene expressing lacZ under the control of Gfap whereas G26 and G36 founders do not. This line carried four copies of the IL-6 transgene.
