The insertion of Velocigene cassette ZEN-Ub1 created a deletion of size 15139bp between positions 141415641-141430779 of Chromosome 4 (Genome Build37). The lacZ reporter gene and neomycin resistance selection cassette replaced the coding sequence. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in bone marrow, spleen and thymus.
