A neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 9 and an additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 9. This allele is hypomorphic because of a cryptic exon located within the neo gene that is known to reduce the level of normally spliced mRNA. (J:135093)
