An frt-flanked neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 5 and an additional loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4. Germ line, flp mediated recombination was used to remove the neo cassette leaving exons 4 and 5 floxed. (J:134806)
