An frt-flanked betageo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 8 and an additional loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 8 in ES cells containing one allele of Arid1atm1.1Zhwa. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on ES cell homozygous for this allele. (J:134633)
