This allele was created to facilitate insertion of vectors into the Rosa26 locus using recombinase-mediated cassette exchange. A splice acceptor followed by a pgk promoter driving an attP-flanked hygromycin selection gene was inserted into intron 1. Upon expression of C31 intergrase, the hyrgromycin cassette will be exchanged with a donor vector containing an attB-flanked cassette. (J:133638)
