Apoc3^tm1(HP)Mae

The human HP gene with a 5' neo cassette and 3' herpes simplex thymadine kinase gene were inserted 30 bp downstream of the poly-adenylation signal. The absence of transcript was confirmed by northern blot analysis. HP expression is detected in many tissues except the bone marrow and spleen roughly recapitulating endogenous expression of the flanking genes at the locus. (J:134445)
