Exons 1 and 2 were replaced with a lacZ and floxed neo cassette. The neo cassette was subsequently removed by germ-line, cre-mediated recombination. The absence of transcript was confirmed by RT-PCR on brain, kidney, testis, lung, stomach, liver, spleen, thymus, heart, and skin extracts. This is a null allele. (J:133318)
