A pGT0Lxf beta-geo gene-trap vector inserted 237 nucleotides downstream of the exon 3 donor splice-site in intron 3. RT-PCR confirmed the expression of only mutant transcript in all but 1 homozygote. Only very low expression of normal transcript was detected in this homozygote. (J:132697)
