Hybridoma M86 produces a natural antibody that recognizes the carbohydrate antigen alphaGal. The recombined heavy chain from hybridoma M86 was used to replace the heavy chain cluster in ES cells. After germline transmission, the mice were crossed with a cre deleter strain to remove a neomycin selection cassette. Correct targeting was confirmed by genomic PCR. (J:133032)
