A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of the intron regulatory region in intron 1 and an addtional loxP site was inserted upstream of the intron regulatory region in intron 1. Cre-mediated recombination in ES cells was used to remove the neo cassette and results in a floxed intron regulatory region in intron 1. (J:132775)
