An frt-flanked neo cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 15 and an additional loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 15. Germ-line, frt-mediated recombination was used to remove the neo cassette resulting in a floxed exon 15. (J:132715)
