EGFP was inserted into the 5' untranslated region of a modified Pomc genomic region that contains 13 kb 5' and 2 kb 3' flanking sequence. The expression pattern recapitulated endogenous Pomc expression in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus. (J:132490)
