The entire coding region including the 7 coding exons, 6 introns, and the first 219-bp of 3' untranslated region of the mouse Il28ra gene was replaced with an IRES-LacZ/MC1-Neo cassette by homologous recombination in ES cells. The real-time RT-PCR confirmed absence of expression. (J:131989)
