A neo cassette was inserted in the anti-sense direction at the BglII and BamHI sites in the constant region 1 to 2 (Cmu1-2). This results in the loss of the constant regions 1 and 2 and a truncation of the produced protein as confirmed by western blot analysis. (J:131633)
