Exon 2, containing the start methionine, was replaced with an EGFP and floxed neo cassette. The neo cassette was removed by transient cre-mediated recombination. The absence of protein product was confirmed by western blot analysis on spleen NK and NKT cell extracts and mast cell extracts. (J:131738)
