Rearranged Valpha2-SGTGGYKV TCRalpha and Vbeta8.3-SGTGGSAETL TCRbeta chains were cloned from a population of CD8+ T cells that recognizes a 17-mer peptide from the C-terminus of Histone 4 family members presented on H2-Kb. The recombined gene segments were placed in a TCR expression vector and injected into blastocytes. This founder line is characterized by "complete" expression of the transgenic TCR with 98% of CD8+ T cells expressing the transgenic TCR. (J:131347)
