Rearranged Vbeta8.3-SGTGGSAETL TCRbeta chain was cloned from a population of CD8+ T cells that recognizes a 17-mer peptide from the C-terminus of Histone 4 family members presented on H2-Kb. The recombined gene segments were placed in a TCR expression vector and injected into blastocytes. This founder line contains only the beta chain transgene, which is functionally expressed in about 25% of CD8+ T cells. (J:131347)
