A floxed neo cassette was inserted into intron 1 and removed by cre-mediated recombination. A GFP cassette was also inserted in frame into exon 2 replacing the start codon. The expression of the fusion transcript and protein was confirmed by northern and western blot analysis at lower levels than normal. (J:131281, J:212391)
