A transgenic vector incorporating an ECFP/bovine Vamp2 (Syb2) fusion protein directed by a mouse Thy1 promoter was created. Approximately 10 copies of the transgene were introduced to a mixed C57BL/6 x SJL background. ECFP expression is neuron specific and signal may be found in various brain regions and neuromuscular junctions (NMJ). (J:131425)
