Cdx2 expression was directed to the gastric mucosa in transgenic mice using cis-regulatory elements of Foxa3. Ectopic protein expression of Cdx2 in the stomach was confirmed by immunohistochemistry using the Cdx2 antibody. The transgenic mice expressed Cdx2 protein throughout the epithelium of the glandular gastric mucosa with heterogeneous nuclear staining, which did not appear to be cell type-specific. (J:75016)
