The endogenous 3' untranslated region was replaced with a bovine growth hormone poly(A) signal. A floxed neo cassette was also inserted downstream of the poly(A) signal but was subsequently removed by cre-mediated recombination. RT-PCR analysis was used to confirm the presence of the modified transcript. (J:119032)
