The exons encoding the secretory form of human IGHG1 and a neo cassette with a 5' loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 1. An additional loxP site was inserted between the exons encoding the secretory and membrane form of the mouse gene. Cre-mediated recombination resulted in the removal of the neo cassette and the secreted mouse form. (J:127217)
