Myt1tm1Ggu mice were crossed with Tg(Sox2-cre)1Amc mice, excising the floxed exon (exon 9 for long transcript of gene, exon 3 for short transcript) in the germline. Inactivation of the gene was confirmed by ISH and RT-PCR of the pancreas in E18.5 embryos. (J:127471)
