The gene trap vector pT1ATGbgeo was inserted into the intron between exons 1b and 1c 67 bp upstream of exon 1c. The shorter alternative transcript, p24, was not detected by western blot analysis on mouse embryonic fibroblast cells where as the longer transcript,p33, is expressed normally. (J:126798)
