The transgene carries a floxed neo sequence, the baculovirus p35 coding sequence and a polyadenylation signal downstream of a chicken beta-actin promoter. Upon Cre-mediated excision of the loxP-neo-loxP sequence, the modified allele expresses p35 in tissues where Cre is expressed. (J:126593)
